As part of its stakeholder engagement work, the SPSO has initiated three sounding boards. Two are for the sectors about which we receive the greatest number of complaints (local authorities and the NHS) and the third is a customer sounding board.
These sounding boards will help us listen to where we can improve our service and will provide a constructive environment for discussion and better understanding of issues relevant to each area, away from the consideration of individual cases.
Each sounding board meets two to three times a year.
